Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 strategic foresight framework using horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario planning
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive technologies and market opportunities
- Create predictive models for emerging industries (AI, biotech, quantum computing, etc.)
- Present strategic recommendations to executive board with data-backed risk assessments
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
- Design and launch innovation incubation programs for 2026 initiatives
- Author annual 'Future State' reports influencing company-wide R&D priorities
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Planning, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or corporate strategy
- Proven experience developing long-term (5+ year) strategic roadmaps
- Expertise in emerging technologies and their societal implications
- Exceptional storytelling and data visualization skills for executive audiences
- Published thought leadership in futurism or strategy publications
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (e.g., Delphi, STEEP analysis)
- Track record of translating future scenarios into actionable business plans
