Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the 2026 strategic foresight framework using trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future trends into actionable R&D priorities
- Produce quarterly foresight reports with data-driven predictions and risk assessments
- Partner with product teams to integrate future-ready innovations into development cycles
- Establish thought leadership through whitepapers, industry keynotes, and media engagements
- Manage a global network of futurists, academics, and technology pioneers
- Advise executive board on emerging risks and opportunities in the 2026-2030 timeframe
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurism roles
- Proven expertise in emerging technologies (quantum computing, neurotech, climate AI)
- Exceptional scenario modeling and trend analysis capabilities
- Experience presenting complex future concepts to executive audiences
- Published thought leadership in futurism or technology journals
- Proficiency in foresight tools (e.g., Delphi method, causal layered analysis)
- Portfolio demonstrating successful 5-10 year strategic implementations
