Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify breakthrough technologies and paradigm shifts relevant to 2026
- Develop comprehensive strategic frameworks for emerging markets and disruptive innovations
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops with stakeholders to align on future vision
- Produce high-impact trend reports and scenario analyses for executive decision-making
- Design and pilot future-proof business models for next-generation products/services
- Represent the company at global futurist conferences and thought leadership forums
- Mentor junior strategists in futures thinking methodologies and analytical techniques
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist research
- Proven expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Exceptional presentation skills with executive-level communication experience
- Published thought leadership in futurist publications or industry journals
- Certification in strategic foresight methodologies (e.g., CFCS preferred)
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future strategy implementations
