Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and societal trends to forecast 2026+ market landscapes
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks and scenario-planning models for executive decision-making
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align innovation roadmaps with future market realities
- Author high-impact trend reports and whitepapers published in industry-leading journals
- Partner with R&D teams to identify disruptive opportunities and de-risk technology investments
- Represent the company at global futurist conferences and thought leadership forums
Qualifications
- Master's or PhD in Technology Forecasting, Futures Studies, or related field with 5+ years applied experience
- Proven track record of accurately predicting tech adoption curves (provide portfolio of forecasts)
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains: AI, blockchain, AR/VR, or synthetic biology
- Exceptional data storytelling skills with ability to distill complex insights for executive audiences
- Published author in futurism or technology innovation (IEEE, Harvard Business Review, etc.)
- Experience advising Fortune 500 companies on strategic technology transformation
