Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a 5-year strategic technology foresight framework for 2026-2031
- Lead scenario planning workshops for disruptive technologies (quantum, AGI, neurotech)
- Produce quarterly trend briefings on exponential tech developments and their market implications
- Partner with R&D to prototype future-facing solutions with commercial viability
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Present future-vision roadmaps to investors and board members
- Mentor junior strategists in futures thinking methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning or technology innovation leadership
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Published thought leadership on emerging tech (papers, patents, or keynotes)
- Expertise in at least three exponential technologies (AI/ML, quantum, blockchain, etc.)
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial strategy
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., CFS, Foresight Practitioner)
- Experience in high-growth tech environments (scale-up or Fortune 500)
- Exceptional communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
