Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems.
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Perform basic site preparation, including digging, framing, and mounting electrical boxes.
- Install and connect electrical wiring, outlets, switches, and fixtures according to code.
- Assist with conduit bending and the proper routing of electrical cables.
- Conduct routine safety checks and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to company safety protocols.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED (preferred but not mandatory).
- Physically capable of lifting 50+ lbs and working in various weather conditions.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation to job sites.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to workplace safety.
- Basic math skills for measuring and cutting materials.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
- Willingness to learn and a positive attitude toward training.
