Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Prepare job sites by gathering necessary tools, materials, and equipment.
- Learn and strictly adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company safety protocols.
- Read and interpret basic electrical blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Perform routine inspections and testing of electrical components to ensure functionality.
- Transport materials and tools to and from job sites using company vehicles.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record is mandatory.
- Willingness to obtain required state licensure as an Apprentice Electrician.
- Basic math skills for measuring, calculating loads, and reading specifications.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and environments.
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds for extended periods.
