Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Plumbers: Support senior technicians with installation, repair, and maintenance of residential and commercial plumbing systems.
- Site Preparation: Prepare job sites by gathering tools, materials, and ensuring a clean, safe working environment.
- Equipment Handling: Transport heavy equipment and materials to and from job sites efficiently.
- Learning & Compliance: Study and apply local plumbing codes, safety regulations, and building standards under supervision.
- Customer Interaction: Communicate effectively with customers, answer basic questions, and maintain a professional appearance.
- Basic Maintenance: Perform basic pipe cutting, threading, and fitting tasks as directed by your supervisor.
Qualifications
- Entry-Level Open: No formal plumbing experience required; willingness to learn is essential.
- Driver’s License: Valid Michigan driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift 50+ lbs, work in tight spaces, and stand for extended periods.
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Tools: Basic hand tools are a plus, but we provide training on professional-grade equipment.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, organized, and able to pass a background check.
