Responsibilities
- Execute excavation, demolition, and site preparation tasks following blueprints and safety protocols
- Operate heavy machinery including excavators, forklifts, and power tools with precision
- Assist carpenters, masons, and electricians by handling materials and completing foundational tasks
- Inspect and maintain equipment daily to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance
- Implement OSHA guidelines and maintain organized, hazard-free job sites
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines and quality standards
- Document daily progress and material usage for project reporting
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of construction labor experience with verifiable references
- OSHA 30-hour certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Ability to lift 75+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Proficiency in operating hand tools, power tools, and basic heavy machinery
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record
- Strong understanding of construction safety standards and best practices
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and overtime as required
