Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, setting up equipment, and ensuring safety protocols
- Assist skilled tradespeople with material handling, excavation, and concrete pouring
- Operate hand/power tools and heavy machinery under supervisor guidance
- Read and interpret blueprints to execute construction tasks accurately
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and dispose of hazardous materials properly
- Adhere to OSHA safety standards and report workplace hazards immediately
- Support project timelines through efficient task completion and teamwork
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic understanding of construction tools and equipment
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain during onboarding)
- Strong work ethic and punctuality with zero-tolerance for absenteeism
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Experience with concrete, framing, or demolition preferred but not required
- Ability to follow verbal/written instructions precisely
