Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential/commercial settings
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and safety regulations
- Diagnose electrical faults using testing equipment and troubleshooting techniques
- Collaborate with contractors and clients to project specifications
- Train apprentices on best practices and safety protocols
- Complete detailed work reports and maintain accurate records
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of commercial/residential electrical experience
- Valid Journeyman Electrician license (MD or NC reciprocity accepted)
- OSHA 10-hour certification required
- Proficiency with hand/power tools and diagnostic equipment
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in team environments
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Flexibility for regional travel (Maryland/North Carolina)
