Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and equipment in residential/commercial settings
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications for project implementation
- Ensure all work complies with California Electrical Code (CEC) and OSHA safety standards
- Diagnose electrical failures using advanced testing equipment and troubleshooting techniques
- Supervise apprentice electricians and coordinate with contractors on multi-site projects
- Manage material inventory and maintain detailed project documentation
Qualifications
- Valid California Journeyman Electrician license (required)
- Minimum 4 years of verifiable commercial/residential electrical experience
- Proficiency with conduit bending, power distribution, and control systems
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain immediately
- Strong diagnostic skills for complex electrical troubleshooting
- Ability to work independently in diverse environments (attics, crawl spaces, construction sites)
- Clean driving record and reliable transportation
