Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair complex electrical systems, including wiring, circuit breakers, and lighting fixtures.
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to plan and execute electrical installations.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure system efficiency and safety.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults using multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other testing equipment.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes (NFPA 70E) and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to coordinate project timelines and workflows.
- Provide exceptional customer service and technical guidance to clients and junior staff.
Qualifications
- Valid North Carolina Journeyman Electrician License required.
- High school diploma or GED; technical certification or associate degree preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in commercial and residential electrical work.
- In-depth knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building codes.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team setting.
- Physical stamina to work in various environments, including heights, confined spaces, and outdoors.
- Current, valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
