Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial/residential settings
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and Virginia regulations
- Diagnose electrical faults using advanced testing equipment
- Supervise apprentices and ensure safety protocols
- Coordinate with contractors and clients for project completion
- Document work orders and maintain system records
Qualifications
- Valid Virginia Journeyman Electrician license
- Minimum 5 years commercial/residential experience
- OSHA 10 certification or willingness to obtain
- Strong diagnostic skills with electrical systems
- Ability to work independently and in team environments
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Reliable transportation and clean driving record
- Flexibility for occasional overtime and weekend work
