Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical systems including wiring, circuit breakers, and control systems
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and electrical specifications
- Ensure all work complies with National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations
- Diagnose electrical issues using testing equipment and implement effective solutions
- Supervise apprentice electricians and coordinate project timelines
- Perform system upgrades and energy-efficient retrofits for commercial clients
- Document work progress and maintain detailed service records
Qualifications
- Valid Nevada Journeyman Electrician license (required)
- Minimum 5 years of commercial/residential electrical experience
- Proficiency with NEC, OSHA safety standards, and local building codes
- Strong diagnostic skills for complex electrical systems
- Ability to read technical schematics and blueprints
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Experience with energy-efficient systems and smart technology
