Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical systems in residential/commercial settings
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and local electrical codes
- Diagnose electrical issues using test equipment and repair systems efficiently
- Coordinate project timelines and communicate progress with supervisors
- Mentor apprentices and junior electricians
- Perform preventative maintenance and system upgrades
Qualifications
- Valid Florida Journeyman Electrician license (mandatory)
- Minimum 5 years of commercial/residential electrical experience
- Proficiency with NEC, NFPA 70E, and local Tampa Bay area codes
- OSHA 30 certification preferred
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities
- Experience with conduit bending, motor control, and VFD systems
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in confined spaces
