Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, fixtures, and equipment in compliance with NEC and local regulations
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and project specifications to determine wiring layouts and installation methods
- Perform diagnostic testing and troubleshooting of electrical systems to identify and resolve faults efficiently
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely completion of electrical installations while maintaining quality standards
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols, including lockout/tagout procedures and PPE requirements
- Manage material inventory, order supplies, and maintain organized toolsets for optimal workflow
- Provide technical guidance to apprentices and junior electricians during complex installations
Qualifications
- Valid Pennsylvania Journeyman Electrician license (or equivalent reciprocity)
- Minimum 4 years of commercial/residential electrical installation experience
- Proven expertise in reading blueprints and schematics with attention to detail
- Strong knowledge of NEC codes, OSHA regulations, and local electrical ordinances
- Ability to troubleshoot complex electrical systems using diagnostic tools and meters
- Physical stamina to work in various environments, including heights, confined spaces, and outdoor conditions
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
