Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential and commercial buildings
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and Florida state regulations
- Diagnose electrical issues using advanced testing equipment
- Supervise apprentice electricians and coordinate project timelines
- Manage inventory and order electrical materials for projects
- Provide exceptional customer service and maintain professional work sites
Qualifications
- Valid Florida Journeyman Electrician license (mandatory)
- 5+ years of hands-on electrical experience
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Strong knowledge of NEC, Florida Building Code, and NFPA 70E
- Proficiency with conduit bending, troubleshooting, and power distribution
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
