Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment according to NEC and local codes.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to plan installations.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical issues quickly and accurately.
- Ensure all work areas remain clean, organized, and safe.
- Document work orders and project progress thoroughly.
- Collaborate with project managers and apprentices to ensure timely project completion.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman Electrician License in the State of Tennessee required.
- Minimum of 4 years of proven experience in commercial and residential electrical work.
- Deep understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Strong knowledge of electrical theory and power distribution.
- Valid Driver's License and clean driving record.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
