Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs in residential and commercial settings.
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to plan layout and installation.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical issues efficiently to minimize downtime.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical systems.
- Prepare detailed reports and document all work completed.
- Mentor apprentices and junior technicians as needed.
Qualifications
- Certified Journeyman Electrician license in the state of Texas.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in residential and commercial electrical work.
- Strong knowledge of NEC (National Electrical Code) and local building codes.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and schematics.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
