Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and residential settings
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations
- Diagnose electrical problems using testing equipment and troubleshooting techniques
- Supervise apprentices and junior electricians on project sites
- Coordinate with contractors, clients, and project managers
- Maintain detailed work logs and project documentation
Qualifications
- Valid Ohio Journeyman Electrician license (required)
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on electrical experience
- Proven expertise with residential, commercial, and industrial systems
- OSHA 10 certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Strong knowledge of NEC, safety protocols, and energy efficiency standards
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in confined spaces
- Clean driving record and valid driver's license
