Responsibilities
- Install and maintain electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in compliance with national and local codes
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical malfunctions using diagnostic tools and schematics
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and manufacturer specifications
- Ensure all work meets safety standards and OSHA regulations
- Collaborate with project managers and construction teams to meet deadlines
- Train and mentor apprentice electricians when assigned
- Manage inventory and order necessary materials for projects
Qualifications
- Valid Nebraska Journeyman Electrician license required
- Minimum 3 years of commercial/industrial electrical experience
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment
- Strong knowledge of NEC (National Electrical Code) and local regulations
- Ability to read complex blueprints and technical documents
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights/weekends as needed
