Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial buildings per NEC and California Title 24 standards
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Perform troubleshooting and diagnostics on complex electrical circuits
- Coordinate with project managers and other trades to ensure timely completion
- Ensure all work meets safety protocols and regulatory requirements
- Train and mentor apprentice electricians
- Manage material inventory and equipment maintenance
Qualifications
- Valid California Journeyman Electrician license (required)
- Minimum 5 years commercial electrical experience
- OSHA 30 certification preferred
- Proven expertise with power distribution systems, lighting controls, and VFDs
- Strong diagnostic skills for complex electrical systems
- Ability to work independently in fast-paced environments
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Valid driver's license with clean record
