Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and safety regulations
- Diagnose electrical issues using diagnostic tools and troubleshooting techniques
- Coordinate with project managers and team members to meet deadlines
- Perform system upgrades and retrofits for energy efficiency
- Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and materials used
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman Electrician license in Kansas (or ability to obtain immediately)
- Minimum 3 years of commercial/industrial electrical experience
- Proficiency with hand/power tools and diagnostic equipment
- Strong understanding of NEC, OSHA, and local electrical codes
- Ability to read and interpret complex technical drawings
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
