Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, NEC, and local electrical codes
- Diagnose and resolve electrical malfunctions using advanced testing equipment
- Lead crews on complex projects while mentoring apprentices
- Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and facility managers
- Document all work activities and maintain accurate project records
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman Electrician license in Florida
- Minimum 5 years of commercial/industrial experience
- Proficiency in reading electrical schematics and blueprints
- Expertise with conduit bending, wiring, and power distribution
- Strong knowledge of NEC and NFPA 70E standards
- OSHA 10/30 certification preferred
- Clean driving record and reliable transportation
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and emergency call-outs
