Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures using blueprints and technical diagrams.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC) and safety regulations.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical issues in commercial and industrial settings.
- Collaborate with construction managers, general contractors, and other tradespeople to coordinate project timelines.
- Perform routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards or inefficiencies.
- Prepare and submit required documentation and inspection reports to local authorities.
Qualifications
- Valid State of Michigan Journeyman Electrician License.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in commercial or industrial electrical work.
- Strong working knowledge of electrical theory, circuitry, and power distribution.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Current OSHA 10 or 30 Certification is highly preferred.
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
