Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality electrical installations, troubleshooting, and maintenance for residential and commercial properties.
- Read and interpret complex blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
- Ensure all work strictly complies with local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Maintain a clean and organized work site while adhering to OSHA safety regulations.
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults and systems efficiently to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to ensure project timelines are met.
- Estimate material and labor costs for job planning and client proposals.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman Electrician License in California required.
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in commercial and residential electrical work.
- Strong working knowledge of electrical theory, circuitry, and power distribution systems.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or within a team.
