As an Electrician at SunCoast, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems. We are looking for individuals who are detail-oriented and committed to excellence in every job site.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures using blueprints and technical manuals.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure systems operate efficiently and safely.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical problems to determine the best course of repair.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with clients, project managers, and team members regarding job progress and site conditions.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper disposal of waste materials.
- Erect and dismantle scaffolding, lifts, and temporary power distribution systems as needed.
Qualifications
- Journeyman Electrician License required in Virginia (Master license preferred).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in commercial and residential electrical work.
- Strong working knowledge of NEC (National Electrical Code) and OSHA safety standards.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and physical stamina to work in various environments.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
