Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair complex electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installations.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure system safety and efficiency.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues quickly and effectively using advanced diagnostic tools.
- Ensure strict adherence to local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Mentor apprentice electricians and provide technical guidance on-site.
- Prepare detailed work orders and maintain accurate project logs.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman Electrician License issued by the State of Louisiana.
- Minimum of 5 years of verifiable experience in commercial and residential electrical work.
- Proficient knowledge of electrical theory, circuitry, and safety protocols.
- Ability to work in various environments, including high-rise buildings and construction sites.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
