Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial/industrial facilities
- Read blueprints and schematics for precise circuit layouts and code compliance
- Perform system diagnostics using advanced testing equipment
- Coordinate with project managers and team leads for seamless shift transitions
- Adhere strictly to NEC standards and OSHA safety protocols
- Document maintenance activities and prepare detailed work reports
- Respond to emergency electrical issues during night operations
- Mentor junior technicians on best practices and safety procedures
Qualifications
- Valid Texas electrician license (Master/Journeyman)
- Minimum 4 years commercial electrical experience
- Proven expertise with conduit bending, motor controls, and power distribution
- Strong knowledge of NEC 2020 updates and local regulations
- OSHA 30-hour certification required
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work at heights/ confined spaces
- Reliable transportation and clean driving record
- Experience with PLC systems and industrial automation preferred
