Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and fixtures in accordance with local and national electrical codes.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical equipment and circuits.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical faults to restore power and functionality.
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to plan project execution.
- Ensure all work sites adhere to strict safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
- Collaborate with project managers and foremen to meet project timelines and specifications.
- Assist in the training and mentorship of apprentice electricians as needed.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman Electrician License for the state of Texas.
- Minimum of 4 years of verifiable experience in commercial or industrial electrical work.
- Proven track record of successfully working night shifts and maintaining high performance during late hours.
- Strong working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building codes.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and technical drawings.
- Valid Driver's License and clean driving record.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and physical stamina.
