Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair high-voltage and low-voltage electrical systems, including switchgear, transformers, and circuit breakers.
- Read and interpret blueprints, electrical drawings, and schematic diagrams to plan layout and installation.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and National Electrical Code (NEC) standards.
- Perform quality control inspections and troubleshoot complex electrical issues efficiently.
- Lead junior electricians and apprentices, providing mentorship and technical guidance.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and OSHA regulations on job sites.
Qualifications
- Valid California State Journeyman Electrician License required.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in commercial and industrial electrical work.
- In-depth knowledge of electrical theory, power distribution, and control systems.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and electrical testing equipment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and work in various environments, including heights and confined spaces.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
