Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial/industrial settings
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Ensure all work adheres to NEC, OSHA, and local safety regulations
- Diagnose electrical faults using test equipment and troubleshooting methods
- Supervise apprentices and coordinate with other trade professionals
- Complete detailed documentation for work orders and inspections
- Manage inventory and order necessary materials for projects
Qualifications
- Valid Virginia Journeyman Electrician license (mandatory)
- 5+ years of commercial/industrial electrical experience
- Proven expertise with conduit bending, motor controls, and power distribution
- OSHA 10-hour certification required
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends if needed
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Pass background check and drug screening
