Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures using blueprints and technical diagrams.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical issues to ensure system functionality and safety compliance.
- Ensure all work complies with local and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on electrical systems to prevent failures.
- Collaborate with construction teams and project managers to meet project deadlines.
- Secure all electrical work areas to ensure safety for the public and employees.
- Provide excellent customer service and technical guidance to clients.
Qualifications
- Certified Journeyman Electrician license in New York.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in commercial or industrial electrical work.
- Strong working knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and circuitry.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and schematics.
- Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record.
- Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various weather conditions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
