Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance in residential and commercial settings.
- Interpret and work from blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure code compliance (NEC).
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical systems to resolve issues efficiently.
- Ensure all work meets local Virginia and North Carolina building codes and safety regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized job site, including proper disposal of waste materials.
- Provide exceptional customer service by explaining technical details to clients in plain language.
- Collaborate with project managers and foremen to meet project deadlines and budgets.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman Electrician License in Virginia or North Carolina.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in commercial and residential electrical work.
- Proficiency with electrical testing equipment, hand tools, and power tools.
- Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in various weather conditions.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
