Responsibilities
- Perform complex electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance on commercial and industrial equipment during weekend shifts.
- Conduct thorough inspections to ensure all electrical systems comply with local and national safety codes (NEC).
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults efficiently to minimize downtime for clients.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to execute projects accurately.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in adherence to OSHA safety standards.
- Collaborate with the lead technician to plan weekend workloads and ensure timely project completion.
- Document all work completed, including time logs and material usage, for payroll and inventory purposes.
Qualifications
- License: Valid Journeyman Electrician license in the State of Kansas.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in commercial or industrial electrical work.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on a regular basis.
- Skills: Proficiency in reading blueprints, using power tools, and troubleshooting electrical systems.
- Tools: Reliable personal tool belt or ability to provide own tools.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with clients and team members.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift 50+ lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
