Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, fixtures, and control equipment according to blueprints and safety standards.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications to plan layout and installation.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure system reliability.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and National Electrical Code (NEC) regulations.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical issues efficiently.
- Mentor and guide apprentices or junior electricians as needed.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures to maintain a zero-incident workplace.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman Electrician License in the State of Illinois.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in commercial and residential electrical work.
- In-depth knowledge of electrical theory, NEC codes, and safety regulations.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or in a team environment.
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
