Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and fixtures in residential and commercial settings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to plan layouts and installations.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure equipment longevity and safety.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical issues efficiently and accurately.
- Communicate effectively with project managers and clients to understand project requirements and provide updates.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work site at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid New Mexico Journeyman Electrician License required.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in commercial and residential electrical work.
- Proficiency with modern electrical tools, testing equipment, and diagnostic software.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA safety standards and industry best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and physical exam.
- Reliable personal vehicle for travel to job sites.
