Responsibilities
- Execute High-Quality Installations: Perform complex wiring, circuitry, and lighting installations for residential and commercial clients with precision and adherence to NEC codes.
- System Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair electrical faults efficiently, minimizing downtime for clients.
- Safety Compliance: Strictly adhere to OSHA safety standards and company protocols, ensuring a zero-accident workplace.
- Client Communication: Provide professional estimates and clear communication regarding project timelines and costs to residential and commercial customers.
- Project Management: Assist in site supervision, material inventory management, and ensuring all projects meet building codes.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness and safety standards of company vehicles and tools.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman License: Must hold a current Journeyman Electrician license issued by the State of New York.
- Experience Level: Minimum of 5 years of verifiable field experience in commercial and residential electrical work.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC), blueprint reading, and electrical theory.
- Tools & Equipment: Proficient in the use of power tools, multimeters, and test equipment.
- Driver's License: Valid Class A or Class B CDL (if applicable for commercial work) and a clean driving record.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) and work in various weather conditions.
