Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain residential and commercial plumbing systems according to local codes.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of water supply, waste, and venting systems.
- Locate and diagnose leaks and other plumbing problems, and determine the best course of repair.
- Perform routine maintenance on plumbing equipment and fixtures.
- Ensure all work is performed efficiently and meets safety standards.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding project timelines and costs.
Qualifications
- Valid Illinois Journeyman Plumber License.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional plumbing experience.
- Strong knowledge of local plumbing codes and regulations in Chicago.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical drawings.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and physical stamina.
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
