Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain residential and commercial plumbing systems
- Diagnose issues using advanced diagnostic tools and techniques
- Adhere to local building codes and safety regulations
- Complete service calls, installations, and emergency repairs
- Train apprentices on best practices and safety protocols
- Provide excellent customer service and clear communication
- Maintain accurate service records and inventory management
Qualifications
- Minimum 3+ years as a licensed journeyman plumber
- Valid DC/VA plumbing license required
- Strong knowledge of local plumbing codes (IPC/UPC)
- Experience with residential and commercial systems
- Ability to read blueprints and technical schematics
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Clean driving record and reliable transportation
- Background check and drug screen required
