Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential/commercial properties
- Diagnose complex plumbing issues using advanced diagnostic tools
- Perform backflow prevention testing and repairs
- Coordinate with project managers to meet tight deadlines
- Ensure strict compliance with DC/VA plumbing codes and regulations
- Train junior plumbers on best practices and safety protocols
- Manage inventory and order plumbing materials efficiently
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman Plumber license in DC or Virginia (required)
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on plumbing experience
- Expertise in trenchless pipe rehabilitation and hydro-jetting
- OSHA 30-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Strong troubleshooting skills for water heaters, boilers, and HVAC systems
- Clean driving record and valid Class B CDL (preferred)
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
