Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians: Support senior technicians with residential and commercial electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance projects.
- Tool Management: Maintain and organize personal and company tools, ensuring they are clean, sharp, and ready for use.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to ensure a hazard-free work environment.
- Site Preparation: Prepare job sites by laying out materials, removing debris, and setting up temporary power and lighting.
- Basic Troubleshooting: Learn to identify and diagnose common electrical issues under supervision.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with homeowners and business owners, answering questions and providing updates on project progress.
Qualifications
- Educational Background: High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly, work in various weather conditions, and stand for extended periods.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Attitude: A strong willingness to learn, excellent problem-solving skills, and a positive attitude.
- Availability: Reliable attendance and availability to work a full-time schedule, including weekends and overtime as needed.
- Experience: No prior experience required – we will train the right candidate!
