Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential and commercial buildings
- Interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and electrical specifications
- Ensure strict compliance with NYC Electrical Code and OSHA safety standards
- Diagnose electrical faults using advanced testing equipment
- Lead junior electricians and coordinate project timelines
- Manage material inventory and equipment maintenance
- Document all work performed and maintain client communication
Qualifications
- Valid New York State Electrician License (Class A or B)
- Minimum 5 years of commercial/residential electrical experience
- Proficiency in conduit bending, wiring, and circuit design
- OSHA 10-hour certification required
- Strong knowledge of NEC and NYC Electrical Code updates
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work at various heights
- Clean driving record and reliable transportation
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
