Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential and commercial properties
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Ensure all work complies with National Electrical Code (NEC) and Louisiana state regulations
- Diagnose electrical faults using testing equipment and troubleshooting techniques
- Manage projects from conception to completion, coordinating with clients and team members
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and safety compliance
- Train and mentor junior electricians on best practices and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Louisiana state electrician license (Journeyman or Master)
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on electrical experience
- Proven expertise with conduit bending, wiring, and circuit installation
- Strong knowledge of NEC, OSHA safety standards, and local building codes
- Ability to read complex blueprints and technical diagrams
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Valid Louisiana driver's license and reliable transportation
- Familiarity with energy-efficient and smart home technologies preferred
