Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, fixtures, and equipment per NEC and local codes
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults using advanced diagnostic tools
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Supervise junior electricians and apprentices during complex projects
- Ensure OSHA and safety compliance in all work environments
- Coordinate with contractors, clients, and project managers
- Perform system upgrades and energy-efficient retrofits
Qualifications
- Valid Michigan State Electrician License (Journeyman or Master)
- 5+ years of commercial/residential electrical experience
- Proven expertise with PLC systems, VFDs, and industrial controls
- OSHA 30-hour certification required
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in various environments
