Responsibilities
- Install and maintain electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in compliance with NEC and OSHA standards
- Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards and ensure operational efficiency
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical malfunctions using advanced testing equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation
- Collaborate with contractors, engineers, and clients on project specifications
- Train apprentices on safety protocols and best practices
- Manage inventory and order electrical materials for projects
Qualifications
- Valid North Carolina electrical license (Journeyman or Master)
- 5+ years of commercial/residential electrical experience
- OSHA 10-hour certification required
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
- Strong knowledge of NEC codes and local regulations
- Ability to read complex blueprints and technical diagrams
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
