Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot commercial/residential electrical systems per NEC and Washington State codes
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation
- Supervise apprentice electricians and ensure compliance with safety protocols
- Diagnose complex electrical issues using advanced diagnostic tools
- Coordinate with contractors, architects, and building inspectors
- Manage material inventory and project timelines
- Perform system upgrades and energy-efficient retrofits
- Maintain accurate documentation for permits and inspections
Qualifications
- Valid Washington State Journeyman or Master Electrician license
- Minimum 5 years commercial/residential electrical experience
- Expertise in NEC, Washington State electrical codes, and OSHA safety standards
- Proficiency with PLC systems, VFDs, and smart home technologies
- Strong diagnostic skills for complex electrical systems
- OSHA 10/30 certification or willingness to obtain
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights/weekends
