Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and residential properties
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Ensure compliance with NYC Electrical Code and OSHA standards
- Diagnose electrical faults using diagnostic tools and testing equipment
- Supervise junior electricians and apprentices on complex projects
- Coordinate with contractors, architects, and building managers
- Prepare detailed reports for project documentation and safety compliance
Qualifications
- Valid New York State Electrician License (Class A or B)
- Minimum 5 years of commercial/residential electrical experience
- OSHA 30-hour certification required
- Proficiency with conduit bending, circuit installation, and motor control
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in confined spaces
- Clean driving record and valid driver's license
- Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
- NYC DOH filing experience preferred
