Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair residential, commercial, and industrial electrical systems, including lighting, wiring, and power distribution.
- Read and interpret complex blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to plan and execute electrical installations.
- Perform thorough inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure all systems are operating safely and efficiently.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical issues, providing effective solutions to minimize downtime.
- Ensure all work strictly complies with local, state, and National Electrical Code (NEC) regulations.
- Collaborate with project managers and clients to provide accurate estimates and ensure project timelines are met.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
Qualifications
- Valid New York State Electrical License (Journeyman or Master Electrician).
- Minimum of 4-5 years of verifiable, hands-on experience in the electrical trade.
- Strong working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building codes.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot electrical systems and diagnose faults quickly and accurately.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record required for job site travel.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a cohesive team.
